My company is in need of your service.
We are an online transportation network company
Here is what we do
1. We have employees (Right now we have 0 employee but looking at employing drivers and then mixing it up with independent contractors)
2. We offer to pick up our customers from wherever they are and drop them at their destination like uber, the only things is that we are a subscription based company, meaning our customers subscribe to us monthly for us to offer our uber like service. We don't collect money per trip like uber and we are planning on using employees and maybe later mix it up with independent contractors.
3. We also offer pickup services. Meaning if they order food from restaurants, or order groceries or wine from wine store, we will pick it up and deliver it to them.
4 We are based in Atlanta GA.
5. We have an exclusive website where our customer can book for ride or pickup from. It is like a listing directory website with different businesses listed. So customers can go to the website, click on the business they are looking for, book an appointment or ride to the business.
6. Businesses list their business, deals, and discount on the website also for monthly subscription. This is to make sure our customers can book a ride to their business, book an appointment, rate and review their business. (The deals are part of the perks our customers will get)

It does not matter which one you choose when it comes to a General Business License because all entities need that one. For instance, your name is Marylin Boe, and you do business as Best Items By Marylin, the name must be registered with a DBA Doing Business As certificate because it is not your full legal name (namely, Marylin Boe). Also, note that whatever item that you sell or lease and it is an item that can be touched (i.e., tangible such as equipment, jewelry, merchandise, electronics, prepared food) requires a sales ID ( Sellers Permit ) to either buy or sell the items or products wholesale from companies that sell in bulk and or sell them retail directly to consumers. Getting people to work for you within 30 days of starting your business subjects you having to get a Federal EIN and a State EIN (employer identification number). On the other hand, you will also need a federal tax ID are: if you are a partnership, an independent contractor, and a corporation or an LLC . You can also obtain a federal tax ID as a sole proprietor and use it as a business tax ID in the place of a social security number. However, you will still need other filings, such as permits, a fictitious business name DBA, and tax IDs as described above. Finally, even sole proprietor working from home or just online can set up a LLC or incorporate, in which case, they will not need to register the trade name with a dba because the LLC or Corporation name will be the legal name of the business.

You will need a federal ID, a seller's permit, business license and a selection of sole proprietor, LLC or corporation.

Yes, they are required to receive a temporary permit.  You can obtain a temporary seller's permit here online.
