On the other hand, you will also need a federal tax ID are: if you are a partnership, an independent contractor, and a corporation or an LLC . You can also obtain a federal tax ID as a sole proprietor and use it as a business tax ID in the place of a social security number. However, you will still need other filings, such as permits, a fictitious business name DBA, and tax IDs as described above. Finally, even sole proprietor working from home or just online can set up a LLC or incorporate, in which case, they will not need to register the trade name with a dba because the LLC or Corporation name will be the legal name of the business.

I currently have a massage establishment license in Florida and have a business open.

I would like to sell massage products at my center. I need a legal service to obtain a business license in the state of New York to be able to teach holistic bodywork techniques outside of my place of business.

I am a York State Licensed Massage Therapist would like to obtain a business license to be able to provide a holistic bodywork (body massage) to anyone who would like to learn how to do massages.

I am going to conduct business at my student’s facilities such as beauty spas, people houses or other facilities. It menace that even though my businesses a home based business I should be able to conduct business in different locations. About my school: My 16 hours training course is not a registered training facility and does not provide any type of credentials for students to legally provide any type of body massages. The school is simply designed to teach people how to perform (not legally practice) a body massage.

We provide a certificate of completion that does not indicate in any way that people can display it in their place of business and be able The school registration forms include a disclaimer stating the type of business I conduct.Do I need a sellers license for this?

Yes, in addition to the rest of your business licensing, you need seller's permit.

You can obtain a CA seller's permit as an out of stater that sellects to report sales tax to CA.
