First decide on a business structure Home Staging And Interior Re Design as a Sole Proprietor, LLC/Corp, or Partnership.

Home Staging And Interior Re Design Legal and Tax Business Structure Home Staging And Interior Re Design Whether your business is an online, home, store, concession stand or a mobile cart, you will have to first select from these business, tax entities: Namely, from sole owner/proprietor, partnership, LLC or corporation. It does not matter which one you choose when it comes to a General Home Staging And Interior Re Design Business License because all entities need that one.

  Online business operated from home need to obtain a home occupation business permit and a fictitious business name if a DBA fictitious name is used to conduct businesss.     If you sell anything hazardous such as chemicals you will need a special location for the merchandise.   Sometimes the county will ask for an inspection if you manufacture or store anything hazardous.   If you store a small amount of merchandise in your apartment it should be ok.   Make sure you do not have too many deliveries by truck to your home if this is a home business.

Physical location business. What if my business is not located in the city limits?     There will be no hazardous merchandise in my home stored or made.   I will not store any merchandise in my home or apartment.   There will be no deliveries of merchandise to my home address.

I am trying to figure out what permits I do need to start a dog treat cart in Sacramento CA? There will be no human food for sale on this cart. I already have a dog grooming salon with a EIN number and LLC. Do I need a separate one to sell homemade dog treats in NY state you, kimI live by n Sacramento county and have a seller's permit and tax I'd but want to sell at a craft fair in Nevada county, what do I need If I wanted to start my own homemade dog treat business from home do I need a license

Hi Kim,

Sales of Dog treats are taxable in CA. Therefore, you will need to get a seller's permit to buy the wholesale or if you make the treats yourself, you will still need a seller's permit to sell them because you need to collect salest tax. So, for example, if the treats are sold for $10, you need to collect 8% sales tax in California so it brings the amount you collect to $10.80.  $10 for you and $0.80 for the state of CA.

i started a welding business a few months ago. I have been filing louisiana sales tax under my federal id number can you do a look up to see if I already have state sales tax id thank you, I believe I already have that then can a handyman perform hvac maintenance in state of hawaii I want to be an LLC as well so how much for all that i need I am going to buy a food truck and need to know about coffee shop i was told that I need to obtain a EIN to open a bank account for my family reunion fundraisers. Do I need to pay taxes on this?

You can obtain a NC seller's permit here online.  Click on get seller's permit now or order button, submit your business info, and select your business state.  Then select seller's permit.
