Also, note that whatever item that you sell or lease and it is an item that can be touched (i.e., tangible such as equipment, jewelry, merchandise, electronics, prepared food) requires a sales ID ( Sellers Permit ) to either buy or sell the items or products wholesale from companies that sell in bulk and or sell them retail directly to consumers. Getting people to work for you within 30 days of starting your business subjects you having to get a Federal EIN and a State EIN (employer identification number). On the other hand, you will also need a federal tax ID are: if you are a partnership, an independent contractor, and a corporation or an LLC . You can also obtain a federal tax ID as a sole proprietor and use it as a business tax ID in the place of a social security number. However, you will still need other filings, such as permits, a fictitious business name DBA, and tax IDs as described above. Finally, even sole proprietor working from home or just online can set up a LLC or incorporate, in which case, they will not need to register the trade name with a dba because the LLC or Corporation name will be the legal name of the business.

I live in kentucky and was going to sell clothing out of my garage ill be the only one working under sole proprietor. do I.still need a.seller permit and register and.license my business?

What's the website to get permit to sell wholesale clothing? I am starting to sell some clothing on bigcartel marketplace and I researched and found out I need a business license

What type of permit would I need to sell clothing/purses/shoes in What if I wanted to just sell clothing without having any partners or employee which is would I get i wouldnt buy in bulk just for example 2 medium 2 smalls 2 large so i can buy merchandise from wholesalers clothing

If I wanted to buy from a retail wholesale company and sell on ebay or amazon what are the steps I have to complete to do so? How Do I renew my EIN Number that expired on Dec. 2017 I sell on Amazon and ebay and my EIN said it expired If my county does not require a business license, will I still need one for the state of ga? I am planning to sell clothing items out of my home online.
