Getting people to work for your business anytime within 30 days of starting your business subjects you having to get a Federal EIN and a State EIN (employer identification number).

On the other hand, you will also need a federal tax ID if you are a partnership, an independent contractor, and a corporation or an LLC .

It is always a good idea obtain a federal tax ID as a sole proprietor and use it as a business tax ID in the place of a social security number.

Finally, even sole proprietor working from home or just online can set up a LLC or incorporate, in which case, they will not need to register the trade name with a DBA because the LLC or Corporation name will be the legal name of the business.

Hi I'm trying to open up an internet café and trying to find out how much a how much a license is for it.

What is a resale ID? Do I need a sellers permit, tax id and business certificate even though I’m only selling online? How long will it take to receive the certificate, so I can order wholesale?

I live in GA, my product is gift baskets I know I need all 3 DBA, resellers, business license Will they be GA state papers and how long do they take to come by mail I'm trying to open an auto repair shop in Gastonia NC.

The building that I will rent was an auto repair shop before We will be selling auto parts for the cars we work on I am getting some info for using my license with an LLC I will go over the info you posted for me to look at.
