Here's How to Get Your Seller's Permit and Other permits and Registrations You May Need. Seller's Permit, LLC, DBA, Licenses & Tax IDs Requirements:

First decide on a business structure baked goods as a Sole Proprietor, LLC/Corp, or Partnership.

Note that each structure requires a filing. E.g., selecting an LLC, requires at least an LLC certificate, an LLC operating agreement, a business license and a federal tax ID number.

After your clients taste your delicious creations, they are customers for life.
Of course, other requirement are not as fun, like getting licensing for a Bakery business.
As in any other business, including home, online and store business, for your Bakery, first, select your Bakery  business structure:
  1. Sole Proprietor, 
  2. Partnership, 
  3. LLC or 
  4. Corporation. 
The above step is important business all documents will be filed under the type of business organizational structure.
After that, you will need to obtain a Bakery business permit. 99% of all businesses need that. For example, even Martha Stewart needs to get a business license for the cookies she sells retail.
This is a general Bakery business permit that all new businesses must obtain. 
Note that in the majority of the cases you do not need to obtain a business permit that is specifically for your type of business. You only need a general business permit. 
In addition, all businesses must be identified by a business tax ID called a federal tax ID number or Employer Identification Number (EIN). If you file as a sole proprietor, you can use your social security number instead of the federal ID. 
Then, a sellers permit is required if you sell Bakery items and merchandise wholesale or retail. 
The sellers permit is also called state ID, wholesale ID, resale ID, or re-seller license. 
If you are an employer, you will need a federal employer Number and a State Employer Number.
If you do business as a name other than your full legal name, for example, you do business as "Best Bakery: cookies, cupcakes, cakes etc," you will need to file a doing business as (DBA) filing. 
Finally, you have the option or incorporating or forming a Bakery LLC. Setting up as one of these corporate entities allows you not to file a DBA.

regular business or sellers license for online . but I DO NEED THE tax IED. whatever with both but for the seller licnes I am not selling wholesale...

it is strictly retail unless I need to trademark my sticker. which someone can change one thing about it and then start selling them a different way I need a wholesale license for the state of alabama Hello, Yes sorry.

How many digits are in the Resale Tax id? i would like to verify if a sellers permit id is valid? can i do that online? Yes I have already gotten on the secretary of state websute and set up an llc and name.

What do I need to obtain a business license for installing and removing Christmas lights for the holiday season you rent a storage building and then sell things out of it yes, my husband owned a sole propietership and had a maintenance license, but the business changed to a partnership then to an LLC sole in my name.

will the license carry over or how do I obtain a new license for the LLC which he is not a member of? I have an EIN and will be hireling, so I believe I need a maintenance license for the LLC I only provide a maintenance service. What licensing do I need? I do maintenance for self storage properties such as general repair my llc is registered with the sos and with the IRS, I think I just need a maintenance license.

the one my husband opened I am not sure if it will carry over from our partnership to changing to my LLC.
