Second, candles being tangible items is subject to sales tax (about 6% in PA).
To buy tax-free, or sell collecting sales tax, you will need to obtain a seller's permit.
Third, you need to register for business tax (a tax based on gross receipts) called a business license or business tax registration receipt.
Finally, whether an LLC or a sole proprietor, you can obtain an EIN and use it as the business tax ID. Hiring requires a state EIN as well.
