Even though you are a home business you still need all permits and tax ID numberss like any other businesss.     Since you already have a Corporation in Connecticut, you don't need a new DBA unless your online website will operate under a different name than your existing corporate name - your Corporation already has an EIN which you'll use for the website business, and you'll need to amend your existing business license to include online retail/marketing services as an additional business activity, then apply for your Seller's Permit using your existing Corporation's information and EIN to collect sales tax on taxable online transactions.     You need a social security number and or a federal tax id number or you can get it thru a USA company you own. For example, if you are a member of an LLC in Las Vegas, NV, you could get one.  In general, however, you don't need a seller's permit if you are buying from out of the USA.

In most cases because there is no balance due for CST, the current billing notices were set up to only reflect balance due amounts, which is usually only the GET. DOTAX is currently working on adjusting these notices to reflect the full payment and details of how the full payment was applied.
