Returns must be filed and tax paid by the due date to the Department of Revenue, P. O. Box 960, Jackson, MS 39205. When the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, returns and payments must be filed online or postmarked by the first working day following the due date to be considered timely filed.

Online registration is available for all taxes. To register for a new tax account, go to TAP​ and follow instructions for online registration. These taxes can use TAP to access account information, file and pay returns: Withholding, Gaming, Insurance Premium, Finance Privilege, Beer, Tobacco, Sales and Use.
